Tender beef and fresh vegetables in a mixture of our savory brown gravy, soy sauce, ginger and garlic, served over fluffy, hot steamed rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds diced beef
  • 1 tablespoon corn oil
  • 1 Better Than Gravy Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice or wine vinegar
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • 1. Heat and brown 2 pounds diced beef with 1 tablespoon corn oil in a large skillet. Remove from heat.
  • 2. Combine and heat 1 package of Better Than Gravy Brown Gravy Mix, 1cup water, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons rice or wine vinegar, 1 cup broccoli florets, 1 cup sliced onion, 1 teaspoon ginger powder and 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
  • 3. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender
  • 4. Serve over steamed rice.
